Frequently Asked Questions
Will participants ever have to pay or create an account?
No. Participants join simply by clicking a link or typing a 4-letter session code with a display name. We will never charge participants to submit questions or join a speaking queue.
Will I be charged automatically when the beta ends?
No. We do not collect credit cards during signup. When paid tiers are introduced, hosts will be notified well in advance and can choose whether to subscribe to a paid tier or remain on the free host plan.
What happens if I reach a plan limit during an active session?
We will never cut off or disrupt a live session. If an unexpected surge occurs during a call, your active session will finish safely. Any plan limits will only apply when creating subsequent sessions.
How does audio retention work?
Voice notes are treated as transient audio for moderation and transcription. Hosts can manually purge audio files immediately after a session, or rely on our tiered retention schedules. Learn more on our Data Retention page.
